Venti Petrov is proud to present the world premiere of El Cid, a two act story ballet based on original music by Jules Massenet. El Cid lived a thousand years ago and inspired generations of writers, poets, playwrights and cinematographers. For the first time, Venti Petrov has taken up the challenge of creating a classical ballet based on this heroic character. The work elegantly combines a gripping story, a unique musical score and beautiful choreography.
